Piston Driven Supersonic Shock Tube
BE Final Year Project, 2024
Designed and constructed a supersonic shock tube using stainless steel, featuring a custom pressure measurement system for Mach number diagnostics.
Engineered a custom pressure transducer reaching 100,000 samples/sec using the NI 6341 DAQ system.
Applied Schlieren imaging techniques to visualize shock wave formation and flow characteristics.
